nanoMR, Inc is an early-stage
medical diagnostic company focused on rare cell detection. The
company is rapidly ramping up its developmental activities in a new
facility in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the Land of Enchantment.
nanoMR is developing a product in conjunction with ABQMR, an
independent NMR lab with a scientific connection to New Mexico
Resonance, and the University of New Mexico.
We seek a Ph.D. level scientist who is experienced
in NMR hardware and software to lead and execute tasks in the
development of new medical diagnostic instruments based on proprietary
miniature NMR technologies. Efforts will lead to integrated
prototypes for use in clinical tests.
Day-to-day activities may include: strategic
guidance of development efforts; establishment and maintenance of an
effective team; design, fabrication, and execution of measurements on
cutting-edge nano-scale NMR devices; creative problem solving leading
to inventive contributions; close collaboration with a
cross-disciplinary team of microbiologists, physicists, and engineers;
preparation of technical reports, regulatory documents, and IP
management.
Publication of results, consistent with the business
requirements of nanoMR, will be encouraged.
Desired qualifications: PhD. in Physics,
Chemistry, or Engineering; 5 years of experimental NMR experience; and
documented success in the development of innovative NMR hardware.
Experiences with fluidic systems, micro and nanoparticles, and
immunolabeling would be looked upon with favor.
