nanoMR, Inc
is an early-stage medical diagnostic company focused on rare cell
detection. The company is rapidly ramping up its developmental
activities in a new facility in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the Land of
Enchantment. nanoMR is developing a product in conjunction with
ABQMR, an independent NMR lab with a scientific connection to New
Mexico Resonance, and the University of New Mexico.
We seek an engineer/scientist to execute tasks in
the development of new medical diagnostic instruments based on a
proprietary miniature NMR technology. Efforts will lead to
integrated prototypes for use in clinical tests.
The candidate will work under the direction of
development scientists.
Day-to-day activities may include: design,
fabrication, and execution of measurements on cutting-edge nano-scale
NMR devices; creative problem solving leading to inventive
contributions; close collaboration with a cross-disciplinary team of
microbiologists, physicists, and engineers; preparation technical
reports.
The job will require independence, flexibility, and
the desire to be a key member of a small ambitious team.
Publication of advances, consistent with the
business requirements of nanoMR, will be encouraged.
Desired qualifications: BS, MS, or Ph. D. in
Physics , Chemistry, or Engineering; 3-5 years of NMR hardware
experience; and demonstrated successful completion of NMR hardware
projects.
