Postdoctoral positions are available in the laboratory of Prof. Chun Tang at Peking University. Prof. Tang is affiliated with both College of Chemistry (http://www.chem.pku.edu.cn/en/faculty/Faculty1/t/112407.htm) and Molecular Engineering and Peking-Tsinghua Center for Life Sciences (http://www.cls.edu.cn/english/PrincipalInvestigator/pi/index4929.shtml). A candidate should receive a Ph.D. degree in biophysics, structural biology, or a related field in the past three years. Preference will be given to those with expertise in NMR spectroscopy.

The laboratory of Prof. Tang focuses on developing innovative solution NMR methods and on developing computational methods for the conjoint use of small-angle scattering, single-molecule FRET, and chemical cross-linking data. The laboratory also aims to understand the impact of covalent modification and environmental factors on the dynamic structures of proteins and RNAs. Our group has routine access to six NMR instruments with the highest at 950 MHz.

The successful candidate will take part in one of these projects. Depending on the qualifications, he or she can apply for Boxin, Boya, or BMS Junior fellowship and receive up to 300,000 CNY in salary, in addition to research funds, housing allowance, insurance, and other benefits.
