Position DescriptionNMR structural biology is growing at UConn Health. We are looking for multiple talented, ambitious individuals interested in joining a dynamic and collegial environment:
NMR Facility Manager: Seeking an NMR spectroscopist, experienced with implementing and optimizing experiments for protein structural biology, including dynamics. NMR Data Scientist: Seeking an experienced NMR scientist, familiar with NMR data and metadata formats and processing workflows. This position is affiliated with the Network for Advanced NMR (NAN, usnan.org). Salary is commensurate with experience.
NMR Data Scientist: Seeking an experienced NMR scientist, familiar with NMR data and metadata formats and processing workflows specifically relevant for biomolecular NMR. This position is affiliated with the Biological Magnetic Resonance Data Bank (BMRB, bmbr.io). Salary is commensurate with experience.
Post-doctoral fellow: The Hoch lab seeks a recent PhD graduate with experience in biomolecular NMR for a range of ongoing projects, including SARS-CoV-2 proteins, prolactin and prolactin receptor, and p16.
UConn Health is a founding partner in the Network for Advanced NMR, a collaboration among UConn, UGA, and UW-Madison that was recently awarded a $40M NSF grant. UConn is also home to the Biological Magnetic Resonance Data Bank (bmrb.io), and the National Center for NMR Data Processing and Analysis (nmrbox.org).
