The Laboratory of Bioorganic Chemistry (LBC) in the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases carries out diverse and interdisciplinary research in the chemical sciences. To support its research mission, LBC has a departmental NMR Facility that supports the work of around 20-25 postdoctoral chemists and trainees. The facility houses three Bruker NMR spectrometers (400, 500 and 600 MHz) and two cryoprobes, an NMR server and associated software and computer work-stations. LBC is recruiting a full time NMR Facility Manager. This is a Staff Scientist position located on the main NIH campus in Bethesda, MD.
Duties to be performed in this full-time position include the following;
